Gaga mania hit the west village last night as Lady Gaga returned to the place where it all began for her – The Bitter End – to perform six songs from her new album ‘Joanne’ (released at midnight). And, at the midnight hour, she treated the fans flooding Bleeker Street with more live Gaga from a balcony above the bar.  Streamed live on her Facebook page, the surprise Thursday night show was part of a three stop ‘dive bar’ tour. The first show was in Nashville, Tennessee; the third stop is planned for October 27 at an unannounced location.

Phenomenal Live Music Covering Several Genres was the Order of the Night

Simultaneously, playing next door at Terra Blues was New York native and women of the blues, Chicago’s Joanna Connor and at the end of the street was New York’s beloved classic rock and soul band, Deep C Revival, playing their monthly gig at The Red Lion.

Bonus – The Red Lion had the national league championship game on and my beloved Cubs won! Thankfully the Mets are out of contention, or I would be very torn. 🙂  — Abbe is Socially Sparked
