The Feast of San Gennaro returns to Little Italy, New York City and will run from September 12th through the 22nd. The annual festival runs along Mulberry Street between Canal and Houston.  2019 marks 93 years of celebrating the Patron Saint — which began in 1926 as a one day event.

Inaugural day of the Festival brings us the ‘blessing of the stands’ — ultra important to a fabulous Italian feast. From now until September 22nd, Mulberry Street in Little Italy and its 11 surrounding blocks will be lined with delicious food stands and restaurants and play host to numerous special events and thousands of visitors. Numerous special events and attractions will take place throughout the 11 streets in Little Italy over the next 11 days. Visitors can find everything from the Grand Parade to live music to delectable Italian food to the Feast’s renowned eating contests. After all, what would a party in Little Italy be without a cannoli or meatball eating contest? Here’s a topline of what to expect.
