Livestream benefit concerts are soaring in the pandemic era. Saturday brings two benefits to the limelight. All Together Now LA starts at 2PM PT/5PM ET and the Band Together Benefit online Festival for NOLA musicians at 3PM CT/4PM ET.
A positive trend is brewing in the virtual benefit music event arena and it’s via livestream from home. This past week alone, fans and non-fans alike were treated to One World: Together at Home and Jersey 4 Jersey, where favorite music superstars and bands came together from their respective homes to perform at a social distance for Pandemic Relief Funds earmarked for various states and cities and to thank healthcare workers and first responders.
The goal of the Band Together Benefit online festival is to help hard-working musicians who contribute to the local economy of New Orleans. PJ Morton, Tank and the Bangas and Jon Cleary will headline the Band Together Virtual event, set for 3PM CT, Saturday, April 25. With a mix of genres ranging from bounce to jazz, the virtual music festival will feature local superstar talent to help raise funds for musicians who have been out of work due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Proceeds from the online Band Together festival will benefit the Greater New Orleans Band Together Benefit Fund. Plans are to grant musicians in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes a financial relief award of $500 due to the health crisis as a result of COVID-19. The monetary support will help with expenses like rent/mortgage, utilities, medical needs and other necessities.
Rock Cellar Productions, in association with the Get Together Foundation, presents ALL TOGETHER NOW! – the online benefit concert event helping the City of Los Angeles during the coronavirus pandemic. The concert is set to be a major and significant relief effort to help Angelenos cope with the severe restrictions imposed on everyone during this dangerous and uncertain time of crisis.
This virtual once-in-a-lifetime streaming event will give fans their music fix in the comfort of their own homes while keeping with the strict “stay at home” regulations of health authorities and the guidance of local, state, and federal government officials.
The concert will feature an array of talented singers, songwriters, musicians, actors, authors, comedians, and celebrities of all sorts “coming together” to perform and send positive messages out to the City of Angeles and the world.
