This past week alone, fans and non-fans alike were treated to One World: Together at Home and Jersey 4 Jersey, where favorite music superstars and bands came together from their respective homes to perform at a social distance for Pandemic Relief Funds earmarked for various states and cities and to thank healthcare workers and first responders.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”7503″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The goal of the Band Together Benefit online festival is to help hard-working musicians who contribute to the local economy of New Orleans.  PJ Morton, Tank and the Bangas and Jon Cleary will headline the Band Together Virtual event, set for 3PM CT, Saturday, April 25. With a mix of genres ranging from bounce to jazz, the virtual music festival will feature local superstar talent to help raise funds for musicians who have been out of work due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Proceeds from the online Band Together festival will benefit the Greater New Orleans Band Together Benefit Fund. Plans are to grant musicians in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes a financial relief award of $500 due to the health crisis as a result of COVID-19. The monetary support will help with expenses like rent/mortgage, utilities, medical needs and other necessities.
