The UNODC Concert: Committed to the Cause Working to End Human Trafficking
Virtual concerts for a cause continue to answer the call on how to best raise awareness and funds during these unprecedented times. The latest music event: The UNODC Concert takes the main stage today with funds benefiting the cause to end human trafficking. Appropriately scheduled on World Day Against Human Trafficking in Persons – July 30th.
The UNODC Artists UNited Against Human Trafficking Digital Concert
Actress and UNODC Goodwill Ambassador Mira Sorvino serves as host of The United Nations concert — a fundraiser for the UN Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Trafficking in Persons to support victims of this horrific crime. The Trust Fund provides direct assistance to 3,500 victims a year through its NGO partners. The collaborative effort will raise visibility and awareness of the impact of human trafficking affecting thousands of people worldwide and show solidarity with the victims. Rukus Avenue will live-stream the digital fundraising concert through new technologies showcasing stellar musical performances and inspirational messages from many of the biggest artists in the world.

Virtual Concerts for a Cause and Benefit
Virtual concerts for a cause and a fundraiser continue to explode since April, when we began first experiencing these livestream events as relief benefits for our healthcare heroes, and individual states relief funds. A few of the early on livestream benefits include: All Together Now LA; Band Together Benefit online Festival for NOLA; One World: Together at Home and Jersey 4 Jersey and Rise Up New York: The Robin Hood Relief Benefit. Three months later we see that virtual benefit concerts are taking the main stage more often.
