Try a little kindness: it’s Random Acts of Kindness Week (RAK WEEK). Everyone can always use a bit of uplifting, especially with so much ugliness in our world. We can’t think of a better way to be Socially Sparked® than to cease the DAY! Did you know that being kind or nice to another is good for your body, mind and soul?
RAK Day is the Finale to Random Acts of Kindness Week (February 13 – 19th), an annual celebration held the second week of February. The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation created the kindness campaign in 1995 with the goal to make Earth the kindest planet in the universe — ultimately to make kindness the norm in every aspect of life. RAK offers a variety of tools, quotes and ideas how to participate. Do you have that ‘one’ person who inspires you to be a better human being? Let them know during RAK Week.

ABOUT THE RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS FOUNDATION
Random Acts of Kindness is an international non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring a global culture of kindness. They believe in the power of kindness to change the way people see and experience the world. Simply, it’s an opportunity to leave the world better than we found it and inspire others to do the same. One way they encourage people to do this is by spreading kindness in schools, communities and homes.
Since 1995, this weekly celebration demonstrates that kindness is contagious and it all starts with one act—one smile, one coffee for a stranger, one favor for a friend, even one grand gesture from an influential public figure. The organization makes it easy for everyone to perform an act of kindness by providing a multitude of resources. They firmly believe that all people can connect through kindness and that kindness can be taught.
