Spark someone’s life with kindness today for World Kindness Day. While kindness to others should be an everyday gesture, one November day is designated around the globe to perform an act of kindness annually.
WORLD KINDNESS DAY is November 13th
World Kindness Day is observed annually; this year on November 13th. The World Kindness Movement (WKM) introduced the annual Day in 1998. WKM is a coalition of kindness NGOs. Today, this date is observed in many countries.
The mission of the WKM is to inspire individuals towards greater kindness by connecting nations to create a kinder world. Members of the movement include over 28 nations with representatives from Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, India, Italy, Japan, Liberia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Romania, Scotland, South Africa, South Korea,Switzerland,Thailand, United Arab Emerites, Ukraine, United Kingdom and with six member organisations in the USA./p>
Our world today is stricken with issues that directly and indirectly affect our lives. Homelessness, climate change, healthcare, gender equality, natural disasters, to name a few. World Kindness Day provides us with an opportunity to share the love.
SPARK THEM WITH KINDNESS
Here are a few simple gestures that will Spark someone or yourself with Kindness:
FLOWERS. Send them, give them or share them with someone else or yourself.
TLC. Reach out & touch someone you love who needs a little boost of love.
VOLUNTEER. Devote some time to help an individual or an organization in need.
GIVE. Donate goods, money, services, meals to those in need in your community.
