Will Super Bowl Ads 2017 Socially Spark Us?
Socially Sparked Top 3 Super Bowl Ad Picks
Will Super Bowl Ads 2017 Socially Spark Our Lives this year? As of today, it is reported that 50 ads in total will air at some point during February 5th’s National TV football broadcast between the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots.
Of the 50 spots airing for Super Bowl LI that were pre-released, our recommended top 3 Socially Sparked picks are:
#1. The 2017 MR. CLEAN. This marks the first time Proctor & Gamble has paid for a Super Bowl commercial and they come out swinging with a pumped up and sexy Mr. Clean. The iconic brand made its first TV appearance in 1958. Here’s a look at Mr. Clean then and now.
#2. MERCEDES-AMG GT. The Coen brothers-directed tribute to iconic film Easy Rider with Peter Fonda and Steppenwolf’s classic song Born to Be Wild
#3. SQUARESPACE. Featuring John Malkovich fighting for his domain name.
The ads airing in Sunday’s big football game will socially spark our lives in new ways that include political and subliminal messaging spots referencing immigration and gender-pay gap. There are also a few new industries and startup tech companies represented this year, with several newbies to the world of Super Bowl advertising.
DISRUPTION IN THE MAKING OF COMMERCIALS
Novel approaches that disrupt traditional commercial production will be created live, on the spot during the game by Snickers and Hyundai – a first. The Snickers’ live spot will air during the game; Hyundai’s spot will air post-Game.
MUSIC, CELEBRITY and The BRAND MAINSTAYS
As in Super Bowls of old, celebrity-driven ads and music will be part of the commercial mix, as will movie trailers from a few of the major motion picture studios and internet TV networks. Brand mainstays will be aplenty from the usual advertisers: beer makers, automakers, food companies and the like. Here is a list of most categories, bands and celebrities you will see and hear:
